Introduction to Picture Framing - One Day Course (Perth)

Cost :  $135 inc. GST. Class numbers are small per session for maximum interaction and learning. Morning/Afternoon Tea and light lunch are included.

This class is ideal for the absolute novice to intermediate level DIY framer.

Even if you do some framing now, you will find this class will answer many of the most frequently asked questions. We will show you lots of shortcuts and "tricks of the trade" to make your framing projects easier to do and give them a more professional look, using the FrameCo system and tools.

You will learn

  • how to measure your work and mats
  • mounting techniques for various projects
  • easy ways to measure, cut and join mouldings
  • mount cutting techniques and
  • finishing and fitting techniques

In the second session of the class you will be shown many innovative techniques to create many different styles of creative mats to truly enhance your artworks to their full potential, including double mats, insteps, arches, circles, v-grooves and freehand cutting.

There will also be plenty of time for questions on specific projects.

Learn all the basics or brush up on your skills.

By attending this class, you will be able to purchase any of the FrameCo range of equipment whilst you are at the class, at special prices and get expert advice on which tools best suit your individual needs
