Start Your Own Business - SYOB

Morning/Afternoon Tea and light lunch are included.

We recommend attending the "Introduction to Picture Framing" and "Creative Framing" courses before attending this course.

Whether you want to earn a bit of extra cash or make it a more serious profession, full time or part time, the SYOB course will help you on your way.

You will learn:

Advising customers on how to get their image framed
Sales Techniques
Marketing and Advertising your business
Pricing and quoting a framing job
Building a profitable framing business
Making a business plan

You will learn easy and proven sales techniques, sales support and how to retain existing business and obtain a loyal customer base. We will provide a pricing schedule, helping you quote for a job and giving your customers confidence in your quote.

We will show you how to get your name out there effectively through word of mouth and local advertising.

The course will cover hwo to put together an action plan to help you start and maintain your business. You will be able to purchase tools and materials on the day of the course at a special discounted rate. FrameCo are able to supply ongoing tools and materials, and can provide advice via email or phone on specific projects when needed.

The SYOB course usually is held after the Intro and Creative courses, providing you with 3 consecutive days of education after which you can confidently start your own framing business.

A light lunch and refreshments are provided.

All bookings will be confirmed and we reserve the right to cancel courses up to 14 days prior to the commencement date in the unlikely event that all classes places have not been filled.

Applications for transfers and refunds must be received at least 7 days prior to the date of the course commencing. FrameCo can offer a pre-payment plan - contact us for details, conditions and availability.
